Responsibilities and Duties
Work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to Improve Pump and Pump Component Quality
Communicate with Customers in the Resolution of Quality Defects
Manage ISO and Quality-Related System and Implement Process Control Plan and Standard Work Instructions
Evaluate current Processes and Make Recommendations in Product Manufacturing and Design so as to Improve Product Quality and Reliability
Understand Customer’s Quality Measurements; Defining and Communicating those Needs and Specifications to the Engineering and Operations Teams
Provide Root Cause Analysis on Quality Defects Discrepancies
Work 4 to 5 Days a week in our Joint Venture in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Qualifications and Required Skills
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering
Minimum of 3 to 5 Years Work Experience in Product Quality and/or Manufacturing Control
Excellent Communication Skills, both Oral and Written, in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Experience in Pump and/or Motor industry is a preferred.
Must be experienced in Statistical Process Control Methods, CPK Studies, APQP, Failure Mode Engineering Analysis, PPAP, MSA, and Gauge Reproducibility and Repeatability.
Must be Hard Working, Technically Competent and Possess Pride in Ownership
Must Have Strong Desire to Learn by Being Open-Minded and Hands-On; Self-Motivated
Must have Dynamic Personality and Excellent Interpersonal Skills; Communicating with All levels of Personnel with the Organization
Must have Strong Analytical Skills and be Adaptable to Change
Proficient in the following Software Applications: Microsoft Office, Minitab and AutoCAD
